Ahoko Quasi Parish has been in existence since early 50s where the community worships under grass tent. Then, was under Koton Karfe Parish.
In 2009, St. Paul, the Apostle Robomi was created with Rev. Fr. Isiah Abdul Atta as the first Parish Priest and Ahoko Station happens to be one of its out stations as the parish was fairly large with sixteen out stations. Rev. Fr. Isaiah decided to divide the parish into two zones, Zone A with their head quarters at Robomi with eight out station while zone B also with eight out station with their headquarter at Ahoko. With the effort of Ahoko and those within the zone (B) In 2010 Rev. Fr. Isaiah Abdul Atta began the idea of writing a proposal for the creation of Ahoko parish. After a short while, he was transferred and Rev. Fr. Peter Daudu took over the parish and equally made a follow up for the creation of Ahoko Parish.
Seminarians and Deacons were sent to serve at Ahoko station, and later the assistant parish priest Rev. Fr. Christian O. Agbo was also allowed to be resident priest at Ahoko station, assisting the parish priest Rev. Fr. Peter Daudu in the year 2015, after much obvious growth in the zone and though recommendation made by the parish priest Rev. Fr. Peter Daudu to the Bishop, Holy Spirit Catholic Church was made a Quasi Parish during the Cathedraticum celebration by Most Rev. Dr. Martin Dada Olorunmolu on the 12th April, 2017 with Rev Fr. Francis Otori as the assistant Administrator in resident while Rev. Fr. Peter Daudu parish priest of St. Paul the Apostles parish Robomi and administrator of the newly created Quasi Parish.
