History of Parish
The Church pitched its tents in Ayetoro-Gbede in the wake of the year 1948.
The congregation was started by some few families who were strict Catholic adherents in the community in search of greener pastures as traders, artisans as their early efforts and interactions culminated into gathering for prayers.
The families include: Nwaosi Anagolu, Onyechi Anagolu the Anagolu (s) were siblings, the former as Senior, the latter as Junior, and J. Babalola who later became the first ‘Baba Egb e’ as the congregation was expanding. Their wards, Friends, Town-mates, Well-wishers, and Neighbours whose souls were won later joined the Spiritual race.
Some years later, as the Church was elevating from strength to strengths, one of the ‘Cssp Rev. Fr. from Sacred Heart Kabba was intimated to celebrate the First Mass with them, who in turn named the Church St. Paul’s
However, the Church became a Parish on the 11th July, 2014 by Bishop Martin M. D. A. Olorunmolu with the first Parish Priest named: Rev. Fr. Wilfred B. Meseda, after tossed from Sacred Heart of Jesus Kabba to join to Our Lady Queen Peace as an outstation in the year 2006
